Our Story
Pine Custom Builders was founded in 2001, but our roots in construction run much deeper. PCB CEO and founder, Ken Pine, began his career in 1985 as a carpenter’s apprentice, gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial construction.
After completing a rigorous four-year apprenticeship with honors and winning first place in Maryland’s statewide carpentry competition, he spent over a decade working for a major Baltimore construction firm, eventually becoming a Job Superintendent.
While commercial construction provided valuable experience, his passion for residential craftsmanship led him to establish Pine Custom Builders—dedicated to creating truly custom homes with exceptional quality and attention to detail.
